Our airport service includes a comfortable car with an experienced driver who will meet you at the airport and will drop you at your pre-booked accommodation. Our driver will meet you in the arrivals area of the airport terminal carrying a sign with your name on it. The students must incur the cost of the service (subsidized cost) which must be paid in advance. To arrange this service, please download the form from the website and send the completed airport pick up request form to welfare@klcm.co.uk at least a week prior to your arrival in the UK.

Bank account opening assistance
All students are advised strongly to open a bank account on arrival to ensure financial safety. You would also require this in order to receive funds from overseas to support you and make or receive any payments locally. To facilitate this process, soon after your arrival, we will provide you with the necessary documentation addressed to the bank confirming your details. We also reply to any queries raised by the bank, should they need further information.

Registration for free medical assistance from NHS
Health and well being of students is of prime concern. Upon your arrival in the UK, you may register yourself with a local general practitioner (a GP, or as commonly known, a doctor) in order to get free medical assistance from the NHS service. You will be provided with the necessary guidance required to register at the GPs surgeries. Kings Langley College of Management provides full support and recommends its students to well established GP practices in their respective areas.

Assistance in applying for National Insurance
As an international full-time student, you are eligible to work in the United Kingdom. During term time, you may work for up to 20 hours per week, and full time during term break. To undertake employment in the UK, you will need to apply for a National Insurance Number. Our staff will take you through the process of applying for a National Insurance and provide you with the necessary documents when you arrive in the UK.

Assistance from the College Welfare department
Our staff will offer you excellent services from your arrival at the College. They will guide you around the premises and familiarize you with various policies (health and safety policy, equal opportunity policy, complaints procedure, no smoking policy etc.) of the college, local area, where to catch buses/train, accommodation arrangement assistance, help with opening a bank account, advise you about the GP registration and generally answer all your immediate queries.
